What we do

LobbyRank tracks where slot games actually sit in real casino lobbies — which titles get the front page in Brazil, which ones quietly slid down the list in the UK, which ones nobody carries at all. We collect that ordering weekly, turn it into a lobby prominence score, and publish it alongside the method.

Almost every other site in this vertical is casino-first: review the operator, push the bonus, rank by whoever pays best. We are game-first. You arrive looking for a specific game, and the casino is the answer to “where can I play this?” rather than the point of the page.

How we make money

We are an affiliate. When a reader opens an account at a casino through a link on this site, that casino pays us — either a share of the revenue that player generates, or a one-off fee. It costs the reader nothing.

The obvious risk is that this quietly buys our rankings. Two structural answers, both checkable:

• The lobby prominence score is computed from lobby position data alone. Commercial terms are not an input, and neither is our own editorial rating of the casino.
• Casinos we rate badly stay on the site with their bad rating. A low score is content. The only thing that removes a casino from our lists is documented evidence of fraud or non-payment.

What we will not do

• Publish a number we cannot source. Unverified fields show “—”. There are no rankings on this site today because the crawler has not run yet.
• Call prominence “popularity”. We measure what casinos promote, not what players play, and we say so on every page that carries a score.
• Present gambling as income, investment, or a way out of financial trouble. It is entertainment that costs money.
• Use urgency, “risk-free” framing, or any of the language that makes this industry’s advertising what it is. Our copy is linted against a banned-word list on every build.
• Promote an operator into a country it is not licensed to serve.

Independence

LobbyRank is operated independently of any other business its owners are involved in. It has its own entity, its own accounts and its own channels, and it does not cross-promote with anything else.

Where the data comes from, and how it is checked

Every figure on this site is one of three things, and the page says which.

• Game facts — RTP, volatility, max win, grid, release date — come from the providers’ own published data where we can get it, and from slot.report otherwise. Which one is recorded per field: a figure the studio published reads differently from one an aggregator listed, and the page keeps them apart rather than averaging them into a number nobody stated.
• Casino facts — licence, terms, which countries an operator excludes — are read from the operator’s own pages, with the URL and the date we read it stored beside the value. Where a casino blocks automated access we record it by hand instead, and that is marked as a human check rather than disguised as a crawl.
• Lobby position — the thing this site exists for — will come from our own weekly crawl of public casino lobbies. It has not started, so there are no prominence scores yet and no page pretends otherwise.

Game descriptions are assembled from those recorded facts by a program, not written by a person and not generated by a language model. Every sentence is emitted only where the underlying field exists, which is why some games have a description and others have none. They carry no byline, because nobody wrote them.

Facts go stale. Anything dated is dated on the page, and an operator changing its terms is a thing we find on re-reading rather than something we assume will not happen — in October 2026 one casino quietly dropped three countries from its restricted list, and the dated record is how we noticed.

Who writes this

Daniel Kempinski writes and checks the editorial on this site, and is responsible for what it says. Where a review makes a judgement, that is his judgement and his name is on it.

What he does not write is the generated material: the game descriptions assembled from our own data carry no byline on purpose, because attaching one to a program’s output would be a claim nobody could stand behind. The distinction is deliberate and it holds in both directions.

Status

The site is pre-launch and being built in the open. The lobby crawl has not started, so there are no prominence scores yet.
